Food Materials and Masks Distribution to Handicapped Community

RC Bharatpur jointly with Deepak Pukar Foundation Distributed food Materials and Masks to the 15 handicapped families at Bharatpur-13, Ujjwal Nagar, Chitwan. Each family got 1 bag of rice (30 Kgs) and masks to the family members. In this COVID-19 Pandemic, Dr. Sunil Kharel from Deepak Pukar Foundation made people were aware of personal Hygiene and Social Distancing. President of RC Bharatpur Rtn. Er. Suresh Bahadur Sen Thakuri expressed his happiness of serving the needy people and fulfill the theme of ‘Rotary connects the world’ by joining hands with DPF (Deepak Pukar Foundation}. Tresurer fo the Deepak Pukar Foundation Dr. Kshitiz Mishra put remarks on Humanetarian service and glad to join hands with Rotary Bharatpur. PE Dr. Rebanta Kumar Bhattarai, PN Rajendra Kumar Piya, Secretary Vivek Shrestha, Members Bishnu Regmi, Shaligram Sharma, Ram Basnet, Lomash Shrestha, Bishnu Poudel and Members from Deepak Pukar Foundation Dr. Laxman Paudel, Dr. Pratik Marhatta were present in the program. The Community is managed by “Apanga Jagaran Abhiyan” Nepal. Mr. Giriraj Acharya of Apanga Jagaran Abhiyan, expressed his gratitude to both the organizations. The families were very poor and have a big problem of not having food due to CORONA Pandemic. With this supply they are very happy and can be managed food for at least two months.
